After successfully completing a B.A. degree course, you can continue one of the two majors of the B.A. degree in a Master’s degree course in order to acquire a postgraduate university degree.
Duration and structure of your studies
M.A. degree courses are designed as “single-subject programmes”. The standard length of study is four semesters, during which one must generally acquire a total of 120 credits. The programme is usually divided into a so-called core area, which serves the teaching of basic subject knowledge, and a compulsory elective area, in which students set their own specialist focus by attending selected courses from related disciplines.
