Nordischer Klang - The Festival of the North

Ever since 1992, every May has seen the Nordischer Klang Festival present culture from the Northern countries

It is organised by the Department of Finnish and Scandinavian Studies, where students and staff keep up to date with the cultural offerings of Northern Europe, in cooperation with Greifswald's cultural institutions.

Concerts, plays, readings, lectures, exhibitions and films invite you to festive encounters with a modern, urban, multi- and transcultural North. Numerous German debuts and exclusive projects, including from Greifswald's partner cities Hamar, Kotka and Lund, guarantee a programme of high artistic quality that is unique to Germany.
