From tattoo parlour to university and PhD researcher: Charlotte Wenke has taken an unusual path to academia and is now a doctoral candidate at the IFZO. With her research on Viking history and Viking representation in the present day, she is making a significant contribution to Baltic Sea Region Research at the IFZO.
