“Amidst ongoing debates about an energy transition and future of the EU Green Deal in the post-Corona era, this book published in the right time to elucidate challenges of an energy transition within the Central and Eastern European region. We contribute to this book by focusing on macro-level socio-political and legal challenges that must be addressed to expedite an energy transition in the Baltic Sea Region. This chapter is a pathway for IFZO energy research activities. I thank the editors for initiating this topical book and their high-quality work”, Karimi said.
